Dina Zielinski is a researcher at the New York Genome Center. She studied biology and French at NYU. Dina has led a team of researchers discovering the casual gene for Hemifacial Microsomia in a large Ashkenazi family. She developed an innovative iPad-based tool with fellow lab member Assaf Gordon to rapidly execute complex biological experiments. Now part of the DNA Land team, she believes that data sharing is critical to genealogy and genomics research and that it can be fun and informative.
