T. Craig Bott –President/CEO Grow Utah Ventures Craig serves as the President and CEO of Grow Utah Ventures, a privately funded non-profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurial development throughout Utah. In this assignment, he directly mentors and advises numerous early stage companies and has helped numerous businesses raise angel and venture capital, design product and operational strategies and implement successful marketing and sales campaigns. He has advised and consulted with numerous civic and community leaders on how best to strengthen and grow their economic and industrial base and achieve job growth. Most recently he has led industry executives, the Utah Governor's Office and the Utah System of Higher Education in the design of strategies to accelerate the expansion of Utah's leading economic clusters including Aerospace and Defense, Energy and Digital Media. He has provided senior level management advice on strategy, marketing and management to hundreds of emerging and expanding businesses throughout the western United States. He directed Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneurial Management consulting services and owned and operated his own successful consulting business for many years. He has served in a variety of senior operational positions at such companies as MarketStar, Franklin Covey and served on the staff of the Utah Governor’s Office. He has launched and managed five separate companies in the fields of consumer electronics, broadband services, alternative energy, digital documentation, and professional services He is a nationally published author, and has served as an adjunct professor at Weber State and Brigham Young Universities where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees.
