LAB1751-F - Using Evernote as Your Primary Tool for Capturing Notes and Ideas (F)

Session Description

Evernote is a free tool allowing anyone to capture, organize, preserve, and synchronize (across multiple devices) small pieces of information, including ideas, notes (typed, handwritten, and audio), photos, online articles, web pages, and URLs. In this hands-on computer lab you will learn how to create a free Evernote account; how to create basic text notes; how to organize notes using stacks, notebooks, tags, and shortcuts; how to set reminders on notes and to use Evernote as a to-do list; how to get information into Evernote using email; and how to share notes using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, email, and links. Also discussed will be the features of Evernote that can index the text found on images, and the additional features provided by Evernote Plus and Evernote Premium.

This computer lab is also taught on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
