IS3025 - Mission Impossible 2: Automated solutions needed

Session Description

Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to develop automated solutions for some of the toughest family history research challenges. You will learn details about specific challenges faced by those doing family history research in the analysis of census and census substitute records.Family history research is often complex, difficult and challenging. Professional Genealogists spend a lot of time analyzing and crunching data they collect in order to solve difficult problems. Beginners often give up because it is too challenging. Most of the tools in today's industry only offer solutions for the end of the process and for searching. There is a great need for automation earlier in the research process as family historians and particularly beginners try to sort through and analyze all the data that is now available, to form correct conclusions about their family.
