RT2654 - Fitting Pieces Together: Many Sources Find Parents

Session Description

The goal of genealogy is to establish identity and prove relationships. Follow a case where no document identifies a woman's parents, but multiple documents, taken together, do establish who her birth family was. This is possible after thorough research, scrupulous analysis of evidence, carefully comparison of documents, resolution of conflicts, and writing down the conclusion. It is easy to connect families incorrectly. Learn how the Genealogical Proof Standard, put into practice, will prevent wrong family connections.
