The Digital Archive is the largest web site for genealogical search in Norway. It contains thousands of sources and it is free for everyone. The most important of these sources are the censuses and the church books. A lot of these are searchable, but how do we perform our searches? To be most efficient in our searches, we have to know something about the sources. We also have to know something about the geography of Norway and something about the administrative systems. With this knowledge, we will use the tools available at the Norwegian Digital Archive and perform some real life searches. The Digital Archive is constantly evolving. What are the new concepts and how can we use them.
