This hand-on lab class will show participants how Google docs can be used as a collaboration tool. Family researchers and historians who have collected data through their research over the years can create Google docs to collaborate with fellow researchers. Family members can share their memories or photos to put together concise family stories. Google docs has the capability to allow the document “owner” to share documents at two different levels, viewer and editor. Presenter will explain what the differences are and how to set the controls on each shared document.
