DNA.Land is new non for profit platform by the New York Genome Center and Columbia University. Users can freely upload their existing genomics information or request to be tested. The platform offers cutting edge tools to analyze genomic information for non-experts. These include automatic algorithms fill missing pieces in the genome by sophisticated mathematical modeling, reveal deep ancestries using comprehensive panels, and find relatives. In addition, users can decide to contribute their information for scientific research, while preserving the privacy choices. In the session, we will describe our previous studies with massive genetic genealogy datasets, and present the functionality of DNA.Land and its impact on users and biomedical research.
