RT1748 - Developing a DNA Testing Plan

Session Description

Genetic genealogy can be helpful in answering a variety of research questions. However, some tests are better at answering specific questions than others and the DNA carried by some relatives may be more helpful in answering those questions than others. Through this class, explore the different types of DNA and their unique inheritance patterns. Make a personalized plan centered on a specific research question. Identify which family members are the best candidates for answering those research questions. Finally, learn about specific considerations for particular tests and testing companies.
